I'd like to second this request, but for another reason. Every time I close down (or install the latest snapshot) the date and clock will have gone back to January 1 and I have to reset it (or skip it) when rebooting. By the way, which button on my BeBook do I press for "C" -- which is the clock skipping option? Thanks.
