I prefer the triptan family of medicines to deal with migraines, myself.
And I'd recommend actually vomitting instead of just having an urge to. If nothing else, it might take your mind off the migraine for a few moments...

we've got something here called vogalib (the molecule is "métopimazine" according to the box) for nausea, it's large chalky tablets which you dissolve on your tongue, they have a very faintly sweet taste but other than that they don't taste of anything much, and i've found them effective. personally, i hate vomitting so much that i think i'd actually prefer feeling nauseous for hours rather than actually having to go through with it.
i see patricia prefers a more radical approach.
