It depends. I have renamed all my books with a certain naming scheme in mind. So, on my Mini it shows correctly. But on my Jointech (Mobireader), it shows the title from the meta data. Which never include a series + number. So, I have to update all the books which are part of a series, to include that. How else do I know what number that book is?

Preferably, you want to be able to choose either the one or the other, based on personal preference.
