I ran out of steam on the Bujold books after a few. The one I liked the most was Barrayar, which was the story of the mother of the main character of the rest of the books. I found that very interesting. I didn't dislike the later ones and honestly I haven't read the last 3, but Barrayar stood out, for me anyway. I thought she was a very good writer, I just couldn't get quite as enthusiastic about Cordelia's son as I was about her.
