Actually, all of the colour units in right now are painted and coated correctly, and they have had them in stock for a couple weeks. The reason they are stating OOS is to ensure that those who received the hastily shipped units have a correctly-coated one available for return.
Also, they spent the first week or so handling the new units and simulating handling, with nary a bubble to show. The new coloured units are as perfectly-coated as the black and white units.
So, if anyone still has a peeling unit from the original Jinke'd batch, rest assured that the replacement will be worth it.
I only say this now since most of the returns and exchanges for coloured units have either already taken place, or in the process now. If you are looking for a unit, I'd give it another week or two before you start seeing them available again for the rest of the public.
I actually laud Astak in this. They are missing out on Blue/Pink/Purple sales to ensure me, and others like me, that should I wish to replace it, there will be one available. Not many companies would do this.
