I just got mine today and noticed the same thing. I did after reading a post in another thread notice that depending on the angle which you hold the PP can dictate whether you see just a red/orange/green flashing light. To me it seems if I look at the light at 90 degrees I see all three colours, but if I tilt it I will only see one.
