I'm not sure about red attracting more unwanted attention- they first have to know what's that thing in your hands
and there are always covers. (Also, I wouldn't get out with my PRS-600
without a cover.)
Anyway, I choose the red- a bit of life! I love silver but I can't have everything in silver or white. Also, it goes well with the iPod Shuffle in red
