USE CAUTION with that denatured Alcohol.
I tried it and it dulled
the shiny finish and took quite some time with Meguiar's clear plastic polish to restore the surface.
It might be the coating that got smeared by using alcohol, as most plastics cases usually shrug off small amounts of alcohol, the cleanup from the method required lots of care to avoid the screen and button slots.
My advice is
Don't.
