Yep, which really limits the usefulness compared to having a PDF on a mac/windows laptop.

This is a major limitation for the Kindle in the educational sector. Until they rectify this, you are better off getting a 13" laptop for college work. The potential is there, but Amazon is dropping the ball at the moment.
