I'm happy for you to use 電子書籍, if that's the term you prefer. Once I've encountered the word and seen it's usage or definition (as most responsible posters would provide in their original post, although, I'm perfectly capable of Googling it) I'm intelligent enough to remember it's meaning. I don't even really care what the literal translation would be because I trust that you won't present a foreign word that could be insulting or rude. If it means balderdash and you want to call electronic reading devices, balderdash, that's okay by me. Maybe I'm a little too trusting, but I think there are enough close-minded and cynical people in the world without adding myself to their ranks.
