Right now, I am being an exhibitionist: here's piccies from my weekend trip in the town of Magog, in the Eastern Townships (an hour and a half from Montréal).
The first four ones are from the top of
mount Orford and from the way down (I'm so sore! Worst part is we took a chair lift to the top, we only walked down!).
Then you have mating spiders on the door frame of our room (at one point, there was 13 of those on or around the door!

).
Then a view of the narrow part of the Memphrémagog Lake, taken from the
Narrow Bridge in Fitch Bay.
Then, the frontier of the US, in
Stanstead (Qc)/Beebe Plain (VT), where half the town is in the US, the other in Canada, and the limit is the yellow line in the middle of a street called, appropriately, Canusa. The American agents there give some kind of a "show" to tourists, asking plenty of questions in an inquisitive way. I thought it was funny, but my boyfriend, being of Arabic origins, panicked at the recollection of horror stories of arrested innocents, so we fled pretty quickly!
And no, I don't work for any tourism institution
