Since it is free and I do live in Massachusetts, I applied for an ecard from the Boston Public Library. I put Michael Connelly's Scarecrow on hold. I'm number 4 on the waiting list. At home I'm 45 for the paper book. Which ever I get first is the one I'll read.

This site has been invaluable and I thank everyone for their polite and courteous help. I never would have thought to look up the Boston Library without the tip. I may never have to buy a book again, ebook or paper.
