Thanks, Dordale. I took the time to look up booksonboard and found the Scarecrow book. It's $9.45. The $20 is for the audio edition. I found that first, too, and thought, "you must be out of your minds to charge that much for an ebook." BTW, I have The Scarecrow hard copy book on request from my hometown library. I've had it ordered for several months and was originally somthing like 245 in line for it. I'm now down to 45. There is a Merrimack Valley consortium of libraries that share books and ship them back and forth. Each library could have 3 or more copies of a book. So a high number doesn't mean I'll have to wait long. I ordered "The Day The Earth Stood Still" DVD from the library and started out at 60 something. I got the DVD in only a week or so and was shocked to have it so soon.

Thanks for the tip on the Boston Library. I'll have to check them out. Of course, I'll do it all on line. Driving to Boston and then paying to park would not be a good plan. I could buy the hardcover edition of a book cheaper.
