Hi there, new user, been lurking a bit, had my PRS-505 for a while now and enjoying it quite a bit.

I don't know whether I am the only one to find the white background a bit too gray. I find that I need a good source of light to get a nice clear display. But it could very well be my eyes.

Does anyone know if the eInk on the new models is any different than the old ones? A bit whiter? Googling around for it came up bubkes. But I see that one can still get about $200 for a 505 on eBay, so this might be a good time to upgrade.
