Actually, my peridontist (yes, I can no longer go to just a REGULAR dentist, I've moved on to the specialists now) tells me that diet drinks are just as bad if not worse than the sugared drinks. Something to do with the chemicals they use. Since I don't drink pop of any kind, I really didn't pay that much attention other than to note it was bad for your teeth so I could pass the sad news onto my children. Needless to say, they were not happy!
