LinuxDevices has an article, 3G-ready e-book reader boasts 8.1-inch display, that seems to provide some new information. I'm not sure how much of it is directly from iRex though. For example, Karel (IREX turns page on eReaders with latest Digital Reader) confirmed that it has a SD card slot rather than a microSD slot.
