Exactly. OP, it doesn't make sense to choose based on speed of page turns. All the e-ink devices give a solid reading experience. The 505 has direct page access (type page number in and press 'enter') and the 10-page-at-a-time jumps by holding the fwd/back button. I'm not sure exactly how it works on the 600 but I'm sure it's similar. If you want a Reader with slightly better contrast, longer battery life and simpler interface, go with the 505. If you want a dictionary or note-taking, the 600 would be your choice.
