I have made it a practice to turn it all the way off when I am not reading. The one night I left it on, not keyboard locked, but just on, the next morning the battery was dead. However, I am still in my cycling proceedures. That was my first total drain. After a few weeks or months, and several recharges the determination of battery life would probably be more accurate.
