Device: Sony e-reader 700PRS
Reader not charging!!!!!!!!!

I contacted Sony at the 1-866-962-7669 in reference to my reader not charging using the USB port and the AC plug. The Sony representative told me that I had the option to get a new reader or get my reader fixed for $29, because I had purchased my device 9 months ago.
I gave them $29 and was told that my Reader should arrive within 4-5 business days. 7 days later, no Reader. I phoned Sony and asked the Rep to look up my reference number and give me the status on my Reader. The Rep was not sure about where my Reader was and when it would be sent to me. After asking for the Rep's supervisor's name, Lo and Behold, the Rep is located in Central America!!!

Can someone help me locate a Sony Rep in the U.S.? I paid $400 for this device and would like to have it replaced or fixed.
