Calibre will do a decent job of converting Lit to Mobi, usually in a matter of seconds. What I sometimes prefer to do is use LitConverter (part of ConvertLit) to "explode" the Lit and then load the Opf file into Mobipocket Creator and generate the Mobi/Prc file that way. If the files are DRM'd you'll need ConvertLit for that as well.
Thanks man, I actually just got Calibre and its working great so far.
What is the advantage to doing it the other way?
