I have PDF files made up of images in a non-Latin language. File sizes are about 100 mbs for a typical 500 page book. I have realized that Sony reader can not handle such sizes on kind of SD or its mauch vaulted high-speed memory stick. It takes about 10 minutes to turn a page from 500 page PDF book. Please note that each page is an image that was scanned - so no textual mapping is possible. My soultion was to break the book into 200 page (50 mb) sections and it kind of works (takes between 5-10 seconds to turn a page on thh auxilary media).
By the way, the same book works pretty well on my neighbour's IRex, so here also lies the difference between the capabilities of IRex and Sony.
