I wish people would stop mentioning the local library as being cheaper. It is not so for everybody and the selection is also not always large enough to meet everybody's tastes.

And I find paperbacks much more hassle. I need to get to town to buy one, or be at home for the mailman to deliver one. The prices of pbooks are higher than those of ebooks. The selection of pbooks is smaller (unless I order abroad, which means I'll have to wait even longer before I can read a book and the price goes up even more) than those of ebooks.

So, while your points might be true for some people, they most certainly aren't true for me.
