Keyboard input isn't supported yet but it should be "soon." Either through update 2.9 (hopefully) or through user tinkering.
The kernel sources have been released which means keyboard support could be compiled in, but iRex haven't got a solution yet for easily reviving an iLiad that has been killed by a user mucking with the configuration files (also called bricking because the iLiad is about as useful as a brick at that point.)
