I think I've tried 'Heart of Darkness' about three times. Unable to get past the first couple of pages.
Also agree on Charles Dickens' 'Tale of two cities'.
Two very boring stories.
Classic, I've found, does not equall great (or even good), and I'm glad I'm not the only one with that sentiment around.
