thus far I have contacted the Inspector General's Office and will be seeing them tomorrow. they will take all of my information and transmit it to the "Office of the Special Counsel" (I would certainly shudder if I saw THAT return address on an envelope or email!). I will be seeing the Union as well tomorrow. this afternoon I have an appointment with an attorney. I have a feeling however that I will get further with the "official route" and of course, no out of pocket expenses.

here is the Reader's Digest version of my termination letter...

***you have been involved in multiple verbal altercations with your co-worker that caused serious disruption (s.i.c.) to the operation of this department... an incident occurred as a result of the door ... being propped open. (this was right after we almost lost the entire telephone switch and DID lose the internet for 6 hours... they [frick and frack] fried part of the special electrical equipment to keep everything cooled... and, yep! insisted on keeping the door open still!)....

....specifically... I had a meeting with you and your two co-workers about a project... I specifically stated that the three of you must work as a team to accomplish this task. (the task was to install some more "modern" phones in the commander's office. frick and frack went into a huddle about what they were going to do and did not include me. I had been given one of the phones to install at my own work desk so I could answer users questions, etc. I had my phone installed and working while they were still reading the instructions) ... I received an email from you later stating a feature wasn't working properly. When I asked you if your co-worker completed his portion of the task, you informed me that you completed his portion which was against the instructions I assigned. (yep! that's right folks! read it here!!! I made the damn stuff work because my co-worker was struggling with it and I did not want us to look like COMPLETE blithering idiots!)*** she then goes on to talk about the situation (I'll link it later) where she changed my entire job description in front of a bunch of customers, and firck and frack had lied about not completing an install. I had become INCREDIBLY angry and knew that I was about to blow. I told her I needed to go back to my offce for a telephonic appointment. she started to argue with me, and I asked to speak to her in the hall where I told her I was very upset and did not want to cause a scene and therefore needed to walk away from the situation. she commanded that I stay and get the equipment installed with frack and she and frick left. about a half hour later, frick showed back up and I walked out knowing that I would have blown up at him. I went straight to her and let her know what I had done without trying to hide or cover anything up....

soooo there we go
