Mea culpa -- I just checked -- they didn't specify RTF.

What they did specify was the following:

PDF
XHTML
TXT
MP3
Other formats will be supported in the near future.

This was in July 2006.

I assumed that RTF would be included in the "other formats"

Silly me!
