I haven't read that book, but I'll be 2 years smoke-free next month, and I can confirm that the psychological addiction can be much stronger than the physical one. You have to totally change your behavior. The habits you develop when you smoke are very hard to break. You get so used to picking up a cigarette when you do certain things and have half of it smoked before you realize you even lit it.

Good luck VCat. If you've been smokeless for 4 days, you can go forever (believe it or not.)
