I'm sitting here, aching in every muscle in my body. But it's a good hurt. My son and I got the Chronophage in the water this weekend and had a really great day of sailing with his son.

Since it was Talk Like a Pirate Day, we came up with pirate names. Since I already am Dr. Balast, I stuck with that. Chris, my son, is Beer Swap, and Lucas, the grandkid is Hungry Boy.

The second day was not as good, since the wind was quite stiff. The flags were all standing straight out. Being the complete tyros we were, we should have not been on the lake. But we had her in and by ghod, were going to sail. At one point Hungry Boy called up from the cabin where he had retreated and said, "Will you guys let me know when the next really scary part is coming?"

But we got back in one piece and trailered her and tucked her away. Any day of sailing where you walk away with dry shoes is a good day of sailing.
