Well truth be told, if you're allowed to give your opinion, others have that right too, even if it's negative. I for one appreciate the honesty of people and it helped me decide against the 600 and for the 300, since I can't check the device in a store as it's only sold online here in Holland.

Keep that in mind too, not everyone have the choice to check it for real in a store. Here in Holland the Sony machines are only sold by bol.com online since they have an exclusive contract with Sony.

So we have to do with reviews of people who actually used the machine and have first hand experience. And from what I read problems with the 600 are plenty, not only the glare, I am reading about freezing etc, and I can honestly say, having used the 300 for about a week, week and half, I had no problems with the device at all, except for the crappy software it comes with.

And since it was my first e-reader I wanted to make a very informed choice and thanks to everything I read here, the good and the bad, I decided to go with the 300, only wish it came with a bigger screen, although I don't really have a problem reading on it, just put the font size on medium or large, but bigger screen would have been a plus.

So let people voice their opinion even if it's negative because it sure helps people to make an honest choice between devices on user experience if they don't have the ability to check the device for themselves in stores.
