iTunes reset - happened to you?

I don't know if this is related to my new iPhone or not.

I've had iTunes for ages (years) and had no problems. I had a whole bunch of playlists, etc. I recently got an iPhone and started using that with iTunes no problem.

Today I plugged in the iPhone and instead of opening iTunes it brought up a dialog box asking me about which library to use. I said I'd select one, wondering what it meant. Now it's opened iTunes (although it says iTunes 1 at the top now) and all my playlists, downloaded iPhone apps, etc. are gone. It's not showing a library either. I can rebuild this one and get the apps again, but that's a real pain.

Anyone have any idea what happened or how to fix it?
