Music by Thomas Newman from the movie Phenomenon. The movie is a ridiculously empty "feel good" tear-jerker. Sentimental hogwash! I hate it. Which is why I've watched it 6 or 7 times in the past few years - usually, when I'm seeking emotional comfort.

Newman is brilliant at scoring movies. I find his use of piano chords to be personally stunning. For example, the chords that start about 30 seconds into this clip are exeptionally so for me. Those moments in the movie when those chords are played are the most emotional for me. I have absolutely no idea why.
