Ok I will answer your question but I am by no means a Linux 'guru'. The best advice I can give you is to use google (a lot!) to find out how to use Linux. I usually enter "Linux check disk space" or something like that and you will find loads of sites with useful information.

'evilvte' is the Linux equivalent of the old DOS command window where you type commands to instruct your PC. It can be found under 'accessories' in the start menu. I would suggest you hold the stylus on 'evilvte' and copy to desktop when given the option as you will be using it alot!
