heh. that's not the problem i have. i had to reinstall my system, and the new installation of ms reader apparently has a different id number (

) so, it's not recognised by my account, which means i can't download any of my books i previously purchased, and the books i had already downloaded aren't encrypted for it, which means i can't open the ones i have on my hard drive.

luckily, i downloaded all of them and stripped the drm right away when i first bought them, but still, it's pretty infuriating. and it means i better keep backups of those books. it was a totally unexpected problem, which has made me a lot less willing to buy lit books anymore, which is a shame because if epub is not available, that's the format i prefer (so easy to convert).
