It has always gone with Apple. Expect them to be behind the curve but to get a stylish if feature stripped product when they get into whatever market your subject is.

Seriously, I have a linux box, live in the Netherlands, and have 99.9% of the same issues Alfy has (but have worked around them). Did you read one sentence in his complaint?
