Selecting your own font does not change the font in all formats, but it is more than just TXT and DOC (e.g. also HTML). Some user fonts are available for FB2, and these are in a menu once you open a FB2 file.

Thanks for your help and yes Deja Vu font works well with my files. I'm glad now I can read my e-books.
