Entropay doesn't link an address to the card so you can use any address and it will work, so I just put in a US address and evrything goes through fine including micropay purchases using the entropay card for encryption.

Only some of the books on my bookshelf have been changed to the new verification system. I will mention some of the most recent ones (I bought the Mobipocket version):
Dexter by design, by Jeff Lindsay.
The devil inside, The devil's due, by Jenna Black.
Havenmercy, Shadow magic, by Danielle Bennett.
Perhaps someone can test what happens when they buy one of these books now?
My fear is that this is just the beginning, and that all the books on your bookshelf with a region restriction will be changed to this new verification.
And I wonder if all the new books monday next week will have this new verification. This could become a big problem.
