An Infocom interpreter ported to the Kindle would be best. http://www.csd.uwo.ca/Infocom/interp.html you can see how portable the Infocom interpreter can be - just target the Kindle, somehow get it to run and bob's your uncle.

I guess it's up to the Kindle hackers..
