Hasn't been released yet. The next firmware update will be for DRM ePub support I believe and they will stop releasing updates that have DRM Mobipocket support. If you want to have DRM Mobipocket support then you just stop updating your DR1000, if you want ePub you'll be able to upgrade your firmware. I think its slated for later this year
