but his stuff is a decent read generally. I have quite a few paper versions, and I'm trying desperately to find the black cover editions locally.
Okay, forgiven.

Asprin's Myth stuff has so far been enjoyable for me (just first two books), but like some Pratchett, it's more smiling-amusing rather than hilarious. The Wodehouse stuff I've read so far (Blandings Castle stuff mostly) has been similarly smile-inducing.
Asprin's is one of the few books I've picked up, started, then put down. Tom Holt's another. I've had a snifter of Wodehouse, and felt a similar lack of enthusiasm, though he's one that I need to make a better effort on than I have.

I did laugh out loud once or twice at Christopher Moore's "Lamb". I have other books of his that I'd like to dive into, but I'm always worried that I'll end up disappointed after a strong showing from Lamb.
I read Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story, and while I didn't mind it (it has its moments), I wasn't inspired to try anything else by Moore until Lamb raised its woolly head. I've not bought it, but I've been curious about it (with quick glances at the content not putting me off).

Cheers,
Marc
