Seriously, one of the gifts my husband gave me for our first Christmas was a scale , which is a horrible thing to give someone, unless they explicitly ask for one! Neverless, we've been married 21 years and that scale still works great! At least he got me a good one! (BTW, This past Christmas he got me my Sony 700, so his gift-giving has improved tremendously!)

I hope you get lots of wonderful presents!
