It is Shiny Blue under it. I am worried that the Silk Screen on the buttons will suffer (Yes, it is on the buttons).
If it is supposed to be removed like the clear film on the display, it really needs to be labeled "Remove Before Use" .
I rubbed some of the areas with a soft cloth and it comes off and leaves a shiny blue surface. Now there is tiny bits of blue-green all over the place (a big mess) . The pealing button down marking is fine, but the rolled over edges do not come clean. ASTAK folk, this is not a good plan
if this was intended.
Robert, didn't I read that these were to have a matte finish? ASTAK may have been
had. This looks like a "Spray on Matte" and it is not surviving my fingerprints.
