Just bring along a hefty supply of zip-lock bags and you can dive with it withh no problems ... Unless of course, you go so deep that your screen will crack from the preassure. So it all depends on what level of divers certificate you got or not.
Personally I can go to 40 meters, so I don't think it would be a good idea to bring the reader along then
