A mobile phone is a "handy" in German.
Don't know who ever came up with this term, but it's short, and German people associated the "hand" with it (please don't ask what we used to hold a telephone handset all those years before ...).
I never experienced the look of a native English speaker when a German asked him or her for her "handy"; it didn't seem to have caused any diplomatic conflicts, though. Just keep it in mind before internationalizing "liseuse". You may start a war just by accident!
So I'm whole-heartedly suggesting "ready".
