We already have support for non-DRM Mobi on both the 5 and 6 inch EZ Reader. The problem is Mobi DRM. Mobi insists on total exclusivity of format. This means you cannot have Adobe DRM and Mobi DRM on any device.
The first 500 or so 6 inch EZ Reader Basic DID have Mobi DRM; and Amazon forced us to drop selling devices in that format (despite the fact that the factory had been approved). Amazon has been a VERY difficult company to work with from our perspective; and we just are staying very clear of them now.
So, no, I doubt you will ever see any EZ Reader go with Mobi DRM again because of Amazon's wishes. We have Adobe DRM at present which works just fine; and we are close to a contract with Fictionwise to have eReader DRM added on our devices. That depends on Barnes & Noble which owns Fictionwise.
