Where did you get your WinCE files from ? What version was it?
I'm guessing only a re-install will sort the problem
You can get an 'Englishized' WinCE 6.0 ver 2.0 from here
http://www.eletroworld.cn/ click on Service in the top menu and look in the list.
Re the WiFi: You mentioned "it stays on scanning, mine never connects" what messages do you get in the status bar when you click on the connect button beneath the SSID Name?
