as for sony, yes, i think they could stand to do more marketing, mainly because (here, anyway) ebooks in *general* are still fairly obscure and almost no-one even realises they exist. on the other hand, given what a niche product they are, i imagine sony probably doesn't think it's worth putting to much cash into the campaign when they've got products with more general-public appeal.
