I love the author link, too. With Stanza's new "Download All" feature, it makes it easy to get all the works of favorite authors.
I can't recall the exact behavior of the "Download to Calibre" link. I'm not sure if it creates a new library or adds the books to your existing library. I rather think it's the former, though.
