I find that british authors are harder to read than american authors for me. that language and grammar and tensing is just different enough that I have to read alot of sentences twice to understand it.

American and English are different languages, don't let anyone tell you different.

but then again so is south carolinan and New yorkin. sure we can ussually understand eachother. its not ussally comfortable though

(not as different than Spanish is between spain and puerto rico. but it is different)
