If anglophones can sit on the verandah of their bungalow wearing pyjamas, sipping chai while using a telephone to arrange a rendez-vous after the siesta that will follow their lunchtime mulligatawny, I don't see why they can't have a read of some e-livres on their lisueuseusesessethingys while they're at it.
