Hi,
I bought a PRS 505 today and when I turn it on for the first time, I realize that it was in French language. After search for a while in the menu ( with no results ) I started to google about this and turn up in this page. I read a little bit about de soft ( prscustomize ) and read that it doesn't support my version.
I trieded to update it anyway and read de log files on the logs and bleh bleh bleh......
So, the thing is that i found a way ( i'm a newbie ) to get the original files from the reader (/opt) to the card and look for the file referencing the language ( sony/ebook/application/resources/scripts/main.xml )
I look for the line who says who's the default language

and change it to

<kbookLanguage lang="en" width="0" height="0" visible="false">

after that, I copied the file into the SD card ( /files.505.1.3.00.22070/opt/sony/ebook/application/resources/scripts/main.xml ) and do the basic steps of the igorsk universal flasher
And after the reeboot, the menues are completely in english!!!
